How much are 50/50 tickets?
50/50 tickets are: 1 ticket for $10, 25 tickets for $20, 75 tickets for $50, and 250 tickets for $100. A total of 3,955,000 tickets will be available.
How much are Cash a Day Giveaway tickets?
Cash a Day Giveaway tickets are: 1 ticket for $10, 10 tickets for $20, and 40 tickets for $40. A total of 119,350 Cash a Day Giveaway tickets will be available.
What could I win in the 50/50?
The 50/50 pot is guaranteed at $21,950 and grows by 100% of ticket sales. Winner receives 50% of the pot, up to a maximum cash prize of $922,500.
What could I win in the Cash a Day Giveaway?
The Cash a Day Giveaway prizes consist of one (1) winner of $1,000 per day from December 1st, 2023, through to December 31st, 2023. It is possible for the same ticket number to win on multiple days.
Who can buy tickets?
Ticket buyers must be 18 years of age or older and located in the province of Alberta to purchase.
NOTE: Regulations prohibit the following persons and their immediate families residing in the same household from purchasing a ticket and being eligible to win: University Hospital Foundation Staff, board of trustees, and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to UHF Festival of Trees 50/50 and Cash a Day Giveaway.
Where will the money go?
Funds raised at the Festival of Trees will support not one but two areas of innovation at the University of Alberta Hospital (UAH). With a new, state-of-the-art Simulation (SIM) Centre, healthcare teams will have the opportunity to practice every aspect of patient care with the most innovative technology available – improving patient safety, enhancing skills and teamwork, and providing invaluable opportunities to develop and test new research, medical devices and procedures prior to use in the healthcare environment.
In addition, the Festival of Trees will support the new Fourth Floor Atrium at the UAH. A calming space for family and friends to gather, meet with healthcare team members, and get much-needed information about their loved-ones in hospital.
